Asun Ellis, Executive DirectorLeading the efforts of the Family Enrichment Group, Inc. with both a great passion and vision for eighteen years, is our Executive Director, Ms. Asuncion “Asun” Ellis. Ms. Ellis became the Executive Director of Thomas County CASA in January, 1994. Thomas County CASA, Inc. became Family Enrichment Group, Inc. on July 1, 2011. She has a Masters of Social Work Degree from California State University, Fresno. Upon completion of her master’s degree in June, 1975, she was employed by Monterey County Department of Family and Children Services in Salinas, California. There, her responsibilities included program development and evaluation for the Children Services Division. She worked in this capacity for over 3 years. Asun is supervised by the Board of Directors and is responsible for fulfilling the mission of Family Enrichment Group, Inc.

As Executive Director of Family Enrichment Group, Inc., Ms. Ellis’ duties include supervising, training and evaluating staff and responsible for program management, development, and

 

 

Wendy Greene, Family Support Coordinator for our Family Support Program

Wendy_Green_Family_Support_CoordinatorWendy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Thomas University in 2002. From 1999 until 2003 she was an Administrative Assistant and Customer Service Representative for Commercial Bank in Thomasville, Ga.  In 2003 she started her own used car business, The Car Lot, and was the full time owner and operator until she began working for Thomas County CASA, Inc. on October 1, 2007.

Wendy worked part time as the Volunteer Coordinator for our Brooks County CASA Program until Oct. 1, 2008 when she became full time and split her time equally between Brooks County CASA and our Family Support Program. Wendy worked in this capacity until April, 2009 when Michelle Poitevint was hired full time and became responsible for the CASA Program in Thomas and Brooks Counties.  April, 2009 Wendy became the full time Family Support Program Coordinator. Her duties as Family Support Coordinator include completion of family assessments, case management/monitoring and follow-up, information and referral services to appropriate community agencies for individual family members, and child and family advocacy in the juvenile court system.

Wendy is married and has three children. She enjoys outdoor activities with her family.  Her favorite activities are hunting, fishing and gardening.
